Spicewalla: A Company Founded by Chefs on a Mission Spicewalla is a company founded by chefs with the goal of bringing better spices to kitchens and homes. Spices are products that come from living plants and deserve great care. To avoid having spices sit on shelves and go stale, we order whole spices in small quantities. We then work daily in our small factory in Asheville, NC to roast, grind, and pack fresh spices by hand to ensure freshness and lasting flavor.

We believe chai should taste as it does on the streets of India - heavier on the ginger and cardamom, lighter on the cinnamon. Usage instructions: Brew a cup of black tea as desired, with generous amounts of cream and sugar, and add our chai masala to your preferred strength. But don't stop there - the versatile blend is also delicious when mixed into pastries like cookies and muffins.

Fresh Whole Spices, Fresh Flavor At Spicewalla, we order whole spices directly from quality suppliers in small quantities to ensure they don't sit in a warehouse and lose their freshness. As soon as an order comes in, we immediately get to work roasting, grinding, and packing the spices that same day. Just like with coffee, roasting and grinding whole spices fresh brings out the most vibrant flavors and aromas. We wouldn't expect you to use pre-ground coffee that's been sitting on a shelf for years, so why should your spices be any different?
